Welcome! Your success—today and in the future—is our purpose. We recognize that you are an individual with unique talents and specific needs, and it is our intent to assist you in becoming a life-long learner. High school credit begins in the ninth grade. The District offers 17 Advanced Placement (AP) courses at each high school. Your required core courses at all levels meet Arkansas Standards and are designed to prepare you for the future. In high school, the emphasis becomes using your plan to make the most of your high school experience. What is your responsibility? Attend classes regularly. Be prompt. Ask questions. Be prepared to learn a lot about many things. Be respectful of your classmates and your teachers, and help others be successful too.

Community Information

Fort Smith is a midsize town at the border of the State of Oklahoma. The residents are famous for their friendliness and will welcome international students with open arms. Fort Smith has branches of all big major fast food and shopping chains.
