One of the oldest private schools in America, Foxcroft Academy serves a diverse co-educational population of 410 day and boarding students in Grades 9–12. The challenging college preparatory curriculum offers 135 courses including 30 Honors and 8 AP courses.

The Academy’s math and science programs exceed national standards and utilize state-of-the-art technology, while the humanities program explores the culture of an era through a study of its history, literature, art, and music. In addition to traditional subjects, students may take courses in music composition, web design, art history, economics, personal finance, ethics, and four levels of French, Latin, Spanish, and Chinese. For international students, there are three levels of ESL, including ESL Writing.

The Academy fields 32 sports teams for boys and girls, and holds several regional and state titles including current state championships in field hockey, football and wresting and regional titles in track, cross country and baseball. Foxcroft also provides more than 20 clubs and student organizations.

Academic and Sport Facilities

Muriel Philpot Watson Library, Ebersteen Art Center, Packard Admission Offices, Industrial Arts Buildings, Main Gymnasium and Lockerroom facility, Oakes Football field and Athletic Complex, Alfond Soccer Field, plus 6 additional athletic fields.

Dormitories and School Residences:

Foxcroft Academy has 4 small residential style dorms (two male and two female dorms)with 8-12 students in each, plus host family placement opportunities. All dorms have wireless internet and phones. Most students use cell phones or international phone cards in placing calls to home. All dorms have T.V.’s with sports and movie channels. New $7 million dorms have recently been developed and are ready for students to move in for the spring semester 2009.
