Provo City School District

School Profile

Welcome to the Provo City School District. The district has two traditional high schools where students are placed, Provo High School and Timpview High School. Both schools have a very strong athletic program and have won state championships in different sports.

Provo High School is the oldest existent secondary school in the city. In 2007 PHS became the first "IB World School" in Utah County. Located across the street from Brigham Young University, Provo High enjoys many of the university’s faculty and staff among its supportive patrons.

Timpview High School offers a wide range of academic, vocational, technical, family science, and fine arts courses. College concurrent-enrollment credit is offered from Utah Valley University for numerous courses taught at Timpview High.
